Let’s pause for a moment
How much of your day is spent thinking about food or your body?
Does it feel like there’s constant “food noise” running in the background?
If so, please know—you’re not alone.
Just by being here and exploring support, you’ve already taken one of the bravest and most important steps

I believe in collaborative care.

That means working closely with your full treatment team—whether that includes a therapist, physician, psychiatrist, or other professionals—to support your individualized recovery journey.

Together, we form YOUR Team —all working toward your healing.

Hi, I’m Stephanie

As a fellow human living in the diet culture-focused world

I get it…

You need a safe and supportive space to chat about your successes and struggles with all things related to food and movement. Join me virtually in a relaxed and comfortable environment (with a few visits from my dog, Norman!), where we will have open conversations and discuss how to reach your personal goals.

You will be able to focus more on behavioral changes, rather than numbers, and I will always meet you where you are in your individual journey towards intuitive eating and living.

Eating disorder recovery is a deeply personal journey and an investment in your physical and emotional well-being.

In our work together, we’ll address nutrition concerns while learning how to approach food with more flexibility, intuition, and self-compassion.
Let’s turn down the volume on the food noise—and move toward a life with more peace, freedom, and connection.

What my clients are saying

“I had been searching for a dietitian to work with, but was always hesitant to reach out as I knew what was in my future based on past experiences: restrictions, dieting, and inevitably falling off the wagon.

I knew that I was tired of the cycle, but did not know how to get out of it. So when I came across Stephanie’s website and read about this idea of Intuitive Eating, I knew that it was exactly what I was looking for – a way to disassociate myself from diet culture and become more in tune with my body.

Stephanie is truly passionate about what she does and I always walk away from our sessions feeling incredibly positive that this is the right path for me.”

Initial Eating Disorder Counseling Session

60 MINUTES

$200

During this initial session, nutrition is not the only thing we will talk about! First of all, I want to learn about you – your personality, your nutrition journey so far, and anything else you want to share. You will virtually receive a set of intake forms – to get the nitty gritty stuff out of the way – so we can dive deep in our first session together.

Follow Up Eating Disorder Session

30 MINUTES

$130

During these follow up sessions, we will pick up from where we left off. We will check in with each other, see how the week went, and if anything popped up that you want to chat about. Sometimes I recommend that you keep a list of anything that comes up during the week that you want to discuss, so we don’t forget to talk about it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of working with an anti-diet dietitian?

We will focus on internal changes rather than external – meaning exploring why we gravitate toward certain foods or have certain thoughts around foods and how we can make mental and physical health related changes. We help you learn how to trust your body and acknowledge and appreciate internal hunger and fullness cues.We show you how to ditch the diet mentality and improve your relationship with ALL foods. We provide support while you regain power over food and your food choices, rather than letting food and certain nutrition information dictate what you eat.We talk about the ways to start appreciating and respecting your here and now body. Most importantly, we bring the JOY back to eating

Do you offer packages?

I do not offer counseling packages – all sessions are scheduled weekly or biweekly – depending on your preference. I recommend meeting on a weekly basis at first, so we get to know each other and come up with actionable goals to work on.

Where are sessions held?

All sessions are virtual (via Zoom) and are one-on-one

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but am happy to provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company for potential out of network benefits

Here are the steps to take to inquire about out-of-network benefits:

Call the number on the back of your card and ask the following question to verify reimbursement before booking your first appointment: “I am interested in seeing an out-of-network registered dietitian. Does my plan provide reimbursement for out-of-network providers? (codes 97802 and 97803)”

If yes, follow-up with the following questions:

How many sessions does my plan cover, and how long can the sessions be?

What is my deductible, and has it been met?

What is the coverage amount per therapy session?

Do I need pre-authorization from my insurance company or PCP?

Do I have a copay for out of network nutrition counseling?

**Record the representative’s name and a reference # when checking your benefits. This information will be necessary if you ever need to dispute a rejected claim

If you confirmed you can submit for out-of-network benefits, make sure to ask your insurance company exactly how/where to submit your Superbill for reimbursement and when to expect to be reimbursed.

**Please note: If you are planning on receiving out-of-network reimbursement for medical nutrition therapy, you are responsible for payment at the time of your service. As the out-of-network provider (registered dietitian nutritionist), I will provide you with a Superbill, which you will submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

What payment types do you accept?

I accept payments via Credit Card or Venmo

Where are sessions held?

All sessions are virtual – via the Practice Better client portal – and are one-one one.

What can you expect from a nutrition counseling session?
Our time together is meant to feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can share anything that’s on your mind around food, body image, and recovery. We’ll start by checking in on how things have been going since our last session and revisit any goals or intentions we set together.
Sometimes I suggest keeping a “stream of consciousness” note on your phone throughout the week. It can be a helpful way to capture thoughts or questions as they come up—because let’s be honest, it’s easy to forget them in the moment (I know I do if I don’t write them down!).
At the heart of our work is a strong, compassionate relationship. I deeply value building trust and offering empathy, and I bring that care into every session we have together.
How can nutrition counseling help heal your relationship with food and body?
One of my favorite parts of our work together is gently challenging the messages diet culture has planted in our minds. During our sessions, we’ll create space to explore those thoughts—whether they show up as food rules, body judgments, or feelings of guilt or shame—and begin to reframe them with more compassion and truth.
We’ll call out diet culture together (yes, sometimes with a bit of humor!) and question the beliefs that no longer serve you. I’ll offer new ways of thinking about food, nourishment, and your body—ones that are rooted in self-trust, flexibility, and care.
Together, we’ll work toward building a relationship with food and your body that feels more peaceful, intuitive, and grounded in your values—not diet culture’s.
How long do people work with me?
Everyone’s path is unique, and there’s no one-size-fits-all timeline. To start, I usually recommend meeting weekly. This helps us build a strong connection and gives us space to really get to know each other and your relationship with food and body.
After a few weeks, we can check in and see what feels right in terms of session frequency—whether that’s continuing weekly or shifting to a different rhythm that supports your needs and goals.
What if I want to lose weight?
That’s completely okay. It’s so normal to want to lose weight—especially in a world that constantly sends messages about how our bodies “should” look. Your feelings around weight are valid, and I welcome all of those thoughts into our work together.
I practice from a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach, which means our work won’t be focused on weight loss as a goal, and I won’t provide calorie-specific or weight-focused meal plans. That’s because every body is different, and our energy needs can vary from day to day.
With that said, I deeply care about understanding why weight loss feels important to you. Your story, your experiences with dieting, and your relationship with your body all matter—and they’re an important part of the bigger picture as we work together toward healing and food freedom.
